Jelly Bean might be on everyone’s mind, but there are people out there who still want to sink their teeth into Ice Cream Sandwich. Though the Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 will never see Ice Cream Sandwich officially from Samsung, XDA Developers member Ahmed hamouda wants to give your phone the ICS looks.
The IMaGinary ICS ROM is based on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and supports 55 languages. It’s also been pre-rooted, pre-deodexed, and has overscroll glow and CRT off effects enabled. You can also get the most out of your battery life, thanks to the Battery Extender kernel and a script to manage RAM Adrenaline Boost 3.0. A 14-toggle mod is also included, as well as an A2SD GUI script, a smooth scroll mod, and a hacked hosts file.
This guide shows you how to flash IMaGinary ICS ROM for the Galaxy Ace S5830.
