One of the most challenging steps in customizing your phone is rooting it and unlocking its bootloader. If you’re a newbie user, the words “rooting” and “bootloader unlock” sound like a warranty nightmare and you’d most likely settle for the regular firmware. However, if you want to make your phone perform faster and look sleeker, these are necessary steps. Not to worry, the Android community has time and time again created programs that will make customizing your devices easier.
If you own a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 SGH-T889, XDA Developers member mskips has just answered your prayer. He has created a great and easy-to-use toolkit for the Galaxy Note 2. Just follow the instructions below and you’re on your way to a better and more efficient Note 2.
This guide shows you how to install the Galaxy Note 2 T889 toolkit for root, bootloader unlock, and custom recovery.
